How do I post a mac Keynote presentation to SlideShare?
PowerPoint makes me sad, and Keynote makes me happy, but last time I checked I couldn't upload my Keynote file into your system. Little help?

You can now upload Keynote presentations to SlideShare! All you need to do is ZIP them up and upload the .zip file to SlideShare. We handle the rest!

Inappropriate? You could always export your slideshow from Keynote as a ppt or pdf and upload to SlideShare in that form. Also, some of my slideshows are so big with all the images I use that I've had to use a program called PDF Shrink to reduce my 80mb file to something more manageable.

Inappropriate?I wish we supported Keynote! Its on our list of to-dos. In the meantime, exporting to pdf is the suggested workaround. I know that sucks for Keynote users.

Inappropriate? We are just starting work on keynote support. But I gotta be real here ... it's not going to be easy, and is at least a couple months off.
But at least we know how we're going to do it, I guess that's the semi-good news.
I can't wait to write the blog post announcing keynote support! Hang in there...

Inappropriate?Any resolution to this? I'm hosting a website using Drupal and I am unable to upload files of type .key. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Email me at uriel.gonzalez@sanjuan.edu

Inappropriate? We still don't support Keynote. You will need to save them as PDF or as PPT and then upload to SlideShare

Inappropriate?Yeah, I was more interested in "why" I can't upload keynote files. Apparently, Keynote files (.key) and some other Mac related files such as pages, etc. are encapsulated files that act like folders of files. Since that's the case, then the only way we can upload keynote files and keep their original file type is by compressing them in a .zip file and uploading them that way.
