How do you convert all those formats to SWF at Slideshare?

How do you convert all the different formats to a SWF files at slideshare. I am a student and want to build a flex application where people upload a file and then it is converted to swf for viewing inside that application. Can a slideshare developer give me some insights or point me to the best 3th party tools to use?
