IE 6 unable to view my slideshows
I am having an issue with my slideshows and IE 6. I am able to see other slideshows, and slidecasts, but if I try to view or edit (slidecast sync) my own slideshows, I am unable to see them. if I use firefox 3, I can see them. strangely, I can view other users content on the site, and even more strangely, if I embed my slideshow (or slidecast) in another site (I placed mine within a survey at http://surveymonkey.com) I can see it.
I upgraded to the latest flash 9, and I'm thrown by this- I can't figure out why it won't work, but really need a solution so that I can use slideshare in my organization- we are standardized on IE 6.
any suggestions?

Inappropriate?Hi, we looked into the url you sent and yes, there seems to be some inconsistent behavior. Not sure why..
A couple of things you could do:
- retry on the computer with IE6... is it still reoccuring?
- can you check the URL across 2-3 different computer at your workplace with IE6 ... are you getting the same behavior there.
Let us know...

Inappropriate?yes, it still is not working. The IT team has recreated it repeatedly. the strangest part of the whole thing is that I can see the content when it is embedded in another website.
upgrading to IE7 is not an option for our organization at this time due to extensive testing required for our internal applications.
I’m undecided

Inappropriate? No we have not withdrawn support to IE6; IE6 is used by almost 50% of our users, so there is no question of withdrawing that...
I'm actually not sure what the problem might be... this is very strange... we've never encountered this.
Can you create a new account on slideshare, upload slideshows, syn it, view it on IE6 etc . Does it work? -
Inappropriate?I use IE6 because that's what my company uses. I also have a secret url. It looks like the same problem to me.

Inappropriate?amit, i'm not willing to do all that to test-
feel free to follow up, i'm using the workaround via mozilla.
(use that new round of funding to test this!)
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Glad this works for you now
-
Inappropriate?I'm pleased you have the ability to upgrade- I wish I could do that too?
any success/progress with testing amit?
I’m undecided
