Is there a way to suppress the "related" feature at the end of the slide ?
Hello,
The features proposed by Slideshare are really great.
However, with the "related" feature which appears at the end of the slide, I am not able to know which content is accessible from my web site (sexual related content proposed for a slide related to politics...)
Is there a way to remove this feature ?
Thanks

Mika,
We built this feature so that we can help expose related content to SlideShare users. It seems like your concern is more about the type of slideshows being recommended. I agree - its important to make sure that we do not recommend any inappropriate slideshows.
We will look into that.

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback; currently there is no way to turn this off.
We just launched this feature a couple of days back ;
http://blog.slideshare.net/2008/02/28...
so this is still not fully baked....we are still not done with the complete feature as yet, hence your feedback is actually very valuable. We will be building controls into this and/or adding the appropriate filters to address your concerns
Should take us just a few days...

Inappropriate?Hey guys, Thanks for pointing this out.
We have done a quick fix to the embed code. Although its a bit of manual process for now, it will be automated in the next release. If you want to stop showing related in the embed player, just append a parameter rel=0 in the query string. See example below:
CHANGE THE FOLLOWING LINE (added &rel=0 at the end)
AND THE FOLLOWING LINE (added &rel=0 at the end)
I’m happy

Rest of the code remains exactly the same. Please write us back if you face any problems. -
Inappropriate? Please keep in mind the number of educators using this tool now. Having these random shows pop up at the end is not a good thing for us. Thanks for the code to delete that feature. It would be nice to have a check box or default to no related.

Inappropriate?I really appreciate this - we have a political advocacy site, and the related video that came up was a comparison between British and Swedish nightclubs! We appreciate having control over what visitors to our site see.
One feature I'd really like to see would be the ability to explicitly point visitors to one or more other related slideshows that I choose - that way, I can create a circle of shows (eg, to go into more detail related to the primary show).
Thanks for your work.
