Slidecast Synchronization Tool - End Marker Spacing Doesn't Allow for Quick Transitions - 20 Second Spacing
Edit
": I need to transition slides within a few seconds of each other in the middle of my presentation. It works fine for the first slide in the timeline, where I transition after 3 seconds. However, in the middle of my presentation, I can't get the markers closer than 20 seconds apart, and I don't see where I can enter the end marker times by plugging in the numbers. Is this possible, or am I wasting my time with Slidecast?

Inappropriate?I have the same problem. I'm trying to slice the audio into 5-second segments for about 15 slides, and can't make the audio shorter than about 11 seconds each using the sliders.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? For what it's worth, I was able to get the timings down to six seconds per slide. I did this by advancing to the next slide in the sequence and moving the start-of-slide slider as far to the left as it would go -- six seconds from the start of the previous slide. It worked, but it isn't ideal -- the extra second for each of 15 slides adds up to 15 seconds that the audio is out of sync with the slide changes.
I’m disappointed.

Inappropriate?I used DataGazetteer's trick, but my slide audio was 1.5 hours long - it took me many hours to adjust it to track closely enough with my slides, since many of my slide transitions are just a few seconds long, I kept having to adjust the audio to line up "good enough" with the slides. Please allow intervals as short as one second per slide - part of this is just a very basic interface issue - the sliders are big chunky blocks and the interface prevents overlapping them - either let us zoom into a particular audio segment, or make the start and end markers very thin.
I’m exhausted

Inappropriate? The time you can set between two markers is also depending on the total time of the audio. In my experience, over 1 hour of audio is not recommendable. The markers have a minimum of space between them, say 10 pixels. The audio is always represented in a film of the same length. So in a 5 min. audio the 10 pix could represent a second, while in an audio of an hour it could be 10. Also, if the audio gets over 1 hour, sometimes you cannot set the marker on a precise point. For example, you can set the marker to 5:14 and 5:16, but not to 5:15. I wish there was a wishlist for SlideShare, so I could ask to be able to set the timings by typing the time, as I time all presentations before uploading them to SlideShare.

Inappropriate?I like the idea of SlideShare's slidecasts, and have found them useful, but this problem with the synchronization tool is really annoying. It makes it impossible to use quick transitions from one slide to another for effect.
Having the ability to set the timings per slide as Elly mentions would be great, or alternatively simply a (very natural-feeling) "Click here to mark next transition" button that you can click as you listen to the audio. It puzzles me why that isn't part of the interface - surely that's the most obvious way to do it?
