Slidecasts: possible to make minimum time between slides smaller?
It appears that there is a minimum period of time that I can have between slides in a slidecast, about 15 seconds? Would it be possible to make that smaller, say about 5 seconds? I guess that it is set at that level for buffering reasons?

Inappropriate?Ya, I am not sure it will be possible to make that shorter. We worked pretty hard to make slide frequency as high as possible.

Inappropriate?Yeah, this is definitely a problem when trying to synchronize slides to audio. As many people do, I'll do an animation-style build where one slide goes up to make the master point, and then bang-bang-bang three new slides are adding comments or callouts to the original slide. In order for this to be a useful tool for slidecasting I need to be able to synchronize content this way.

Inappropriate?Dan York did a slidecast of 243 slides in 15 mins: http://www.slideshare.net/danyork/ete...
Thats pretty fast IMO. Are you trying to go faster than that? The playing will not keep up even (i.e., the slides will not play fast enough) even if the slidecast editor allowed it.... -
I did a slidecast of 151 slides in 3 mins. http://www.slideshare.net/renn/roses-.... What happens is that the slides gradually get behind the music. The last slide is about 8 seconds behind the music. -
rashmi - this did not address the question of HOW. Please help. -
Inappropriate? As far as I was seeing, the minimum time per slide had to do with the visual width of the handles on the blue bar, the most I could do was to place one directly alongside another, rather than have them overlap. And that width represented more seconds than the slide needed.

Inappropriate?I've the same problem. I'd like the minimum distance between the blue sliders to be a little more accurate, say, down to 10 seconds.
Can more accurate timing be had with the ETCO values? I couldn't find any information on what ETCO was or how to use it.
