SlideShare is SlideSloooooow.
I just discovered SlideShare and decided to post up a 2.3 MB PDF presentation (no sound) and so far the status page after I uploaded is now going on 7 hours to convert! I see in the Forum that others have had this issue (12 months ago) and it was resolved back then. Are you finding this problem still exists? How long should my file take to convert, really? Any help or suggestions or explanations are appreciated. I'm uploading on a Mac G5 with Safari 3.2.1 if that info helps. Thanks.

Please refresh the page and check your slidespace. Your 2.3 MB PDF should have been converted long ago ..7 hrs is too long. Let us know if you are still facing the problem.

Inappropriate?I went back to the "My SlideShare" page and saw my presentationn icon there. Clicked on it and it worked! Thanks. I don't know why it took so long, though—I guess I'll just try refreshing or make it a common practice to leave the upload page and then return to "My SlideShare".
