Update your slide => result: 404
I've just updated my slides at and the results was a 404 for the location of the slides.
It still works as an external embedded object, but the URL is completely dead.
http://www.slideshare.net/remy.sharp/...
What's funny is that it's currently the most viewed slide (at time of writing), yet you can't even view the damn thing.
http://www.slideshare.net/popular
I also noticed the tags would disappear when I would go to edit the details on the page (which didn't result in a 404).
I saw another user had the same problem...6 days ago and it *still* wasn't fixed.
Any idea whether a fix is going in place, or this URL can be resurrected?

I have this problem, too!
Tell me when someone solves it.
The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate?hmm...it's just come back to life. If it was because of this post, or the feedback I sent on the slideshare web site then I have to say customer services is to be commended.
If it's just a coincident, well...I'm happy again - so something worked.
Thanks.
I’m happy again.

Inappropriate? Its a coincidence! Or maybe the change took a moment. Not sure.
Are you still having the tags problem? If so, can you attach a screenshot.
Sorry, we have not been able to be as responsive as we would like. SlideShare is growing fast, and we just don't have resources enough to do all the things we need to. -
Inappropriate?Hi Rashmi - thanks for getting back to me.
On the tags problem, if I select edit from 'my slidespace' the tags field is empty (or rather contains a greyed "separate tags by spaces").
I've check the source, and the input's value is "separate tags by spaces", and I've checked the page both in Firefox 2 and Safari 3 (both on a Mac) and they're the same.
Do you still want a screenshot? Happy to give more info if it helps. -
Inappropriate?I notice that you do have some tags for that presentation. So when you go to edit, can you not see those tags as well.
Ya, a screenshot would help. This is not an issue we have heard of earlier. -

That's right - the slides do have tags, but going to edit, it appears as if it doesn't. I first noticed it going through this process:
1) Upload the initial slides - added title, description and tags. Saved fine.
2) Edited and modified the title. Saved fine.
3) Noticed I didn't have any tags - edited, added tags and saved. Saved fine.
(The uploading of updated slides and the 404 issues was much later on).
