Updated slideshow is not working
I just updated my slideshow. It looks ok in my slidespace but when i look in slideshare it's still the previous version of my slideshow. On the contrary it is working with embed

Inappropriate?We're sorry for this late reply, are you still having the problem with your slide show?
I suspect it might be a cache issue. Please give me a link to your slide show on SlideShare and a link to a page where it's embedded so I can check.

Inappropriate?I quickly ran through the embedded slide show as well as the show on the SlideShare page and was not able to spot any differences.

The right one is the embeded version wih "5 Million" in orange; in the slideshare version i see "5 Million" in grey -

Inappropriate?I made several tests : different computers (at home, at work) all with XP, with different browsers (firefox, ie); every time i have "5 million" in grey (slide 4) at the following URL :

I'm still not able to replicate your problem, I see identical shows in both places. But there is at least one other user who is experiencing a similar problem which makes me think it might be a larger issue.
We're looking into right now and I'll post here as soon as we can understand what's going on.

Inappropriate?I am experiencing the same problem. I uploaded a presentation, noticed there were some issues and uploaded again. The player shows the original slide show. Any news on this front - looks like this thread is old?

Inappropriate?Okay, so its a cache issue. Looks like the problem resolved itself within 42 min from upload.

Inappropriate?I had this problem. It cleared up on the slideshare site on its own. On embedding I had to delete, clear my cache, and re-embed.

Inappropriate?I have a similar problem. Uploaded a presentation yesterday. Embedded it on my blog (http://www.crossmediaspecialist.nl/ex...).
Worked on it this morning and uploaded a new version of the same presentation. On Slideshare it's ok, but the embedded one is showing the previous version. Cleared caches, embedded again (several times)
, rebooted my computer, used another browser. Still the same problem. Is there a caching problem on the server side?

From everything I have seen its all about the caching policies on their end. It is not necessarily a problem, but a mismatch of expectations. At the end of the day, Slideshare has to leverage caching where possible to achieve the performance and stability of the services they provide. My guess is by the time I submit this comment, your problem is likely resolved, if not for you, then possibly for many others. -
sounds reasonable enough. Had the same conclusion. I'll hang in there til tomorrow. Should be ok by then (just checked and it's still the old one embedded).
