Weird URLs for recent uploads
I'm not sure when exactly did this start, but from some point on newly uploaded presentations have weird URLs that all end either with "-presentation" or "-[some-numeric-id]", compared to the past when it was /username/preso-title/ ... Has the URL pattern changed?
(By the way, is it possible to change the URL slug of a presentation if it's e.g. generated incorrectly from the preso title?)

Inappropriate?We have been adding the -presentation to the url for a few weeks now.
The numbers you see in a URL get added if there is already a presentation in the system with the same URL. This usually happens when you've uploaded a presentation and the conversion fails. This doesn't show up in your slidespace but you need to go the "Edit all slideshows" page where you can edit and re-upload a failed conversion or delete it. Deleting will free up the URL.
To answer your last question, no we don't allow editing of the slug presently.

Inappropriate?Thank you for the information, Ashwan. I wasn't sure if that was some kind of error or intended behaviour.
May I ask for the reason of the "-presentation" URL bit? For me it seems as a superficial part, that makes the URLs unnecessarily longer.
And the question about changing the URL ... my intention was to fix some of possible "broken/wrong" URLs — which happens to non-ASCII preso titles ("Acčěnťs" turns into "/acns" instead of "/accents") — now I have to name the preso in ASCII to make the URL look correct, adding accents afterwards.
(I promised @jboutelle some more info about bits and pieces that I think are lacking on the site or the experience's not ideal. I'll put it down in more detail under the "share an idea" section.)

Inappropriate?I've noticed just recently that the permalinks are created quite randomly, sometimes they do include the "-presentation", sometimes they don't (happened a few times during the past couple of days) - it makes guessing the URL of a slide deck really hard.
