What's the best way to reduce the file size of a PDF presentation?
My presentation is 10 MB over the 50MB limit, and I know there are some tools that allow for effective compression of PDF images. Google searches send me to many crappy tools released years ago. I figure someone in the Slideshare community must have a helpful tip.

It has lots of configuration options for the amount of compression to apply.

Another simpler way to do this is to do image compression in the ppt stage itself... Powerpoint has an option for that... don't know about keynote but I think it must be having something as well...
