Why did my agency's firewall just start blocking slideshare?
A few weeks ago the firewall at my work started blocking Slideshare. In both Firefox and IE the site appears as if I am looking at a mobile version of it. Our IT team is looking into this, but do you have any ideas for why this might have just started happened or how they would solve this?

Inappropriate?We now distribute the SlideShare content over a couple of new CDN (content distribution network) domains. It's possible that they are being blocked by your firewall.
If you can ask your IT admin to ensure that *.slidesharecdn.com is allowed you shouldn't have any trouble with SlideShare.
