Better filter options for Slifes collected data
Right now, only daily or monthly view is possible. Apart from the fact that tracking is still faulty (see keyboard input thread), this limited access of the data is limiting Slifes usefulness.
I would like to see a way of filtering the collected usage data in a customizable way, e.g. accumulated usage time between two dates, quick look at last 5 days etc. Would be really make the data much more useful and accessible.

Inappropriate?Thank you so much for the feedback.

If I had to bet money, this was definitely not sarcasm. I've read quite a few of these now, and it seems that they just like to read and respond to as many posts as possible, even if it's just to thank a user for feedback so the user knows that they aren't being ignored. -
Absolutely! We receive lots of feedback and suggestions everyday, some here, some through our contact form, support email, etc. There's just so much we can do realistically, but we like to acknowledge that we get the message. We are always listening.
Here's an interesting question. Slife is free, but would you be willing to pay a small fee to see your feature request move up in priority? Just a random thought. -

I'm a writer (so I spend large amounts of time typing, and very little time mousing), and so Slife's inability to recognize keyboard input as activity is a dealbreaker for me. I love this program, but it just doesn't work for me, if it won't recognize the time I've spent working on my documents, simply because I haven't touched the mouse. I'm not interested in paying a fee to see that feature added, because in my opinion it's a flaw in the program, and I don't think you should charge your users to fix a faulty program. That said, I'd LOVE to see you add that feature as soon as possible, and if it worked as promised after that--tracking my keyboard input and therefor accurately tracking my time worked--then I'd gladly pay a small fee for the program, so long as it was a price I could justify within my budget. -
We are hard at work on a new release and I am happy to say that the new version does recognize the keyboard (typing) as an activity! -
