Document recording doesn't work as intended
I registered for Slife today and thought the app + the website looked great. I was really excited because it seemed to be precisely what I was looking for - BUT - it seems to be full of problems. At first it recorded everything perfectly, and uploading it to my Slife account very fast, but after using it for almost one day, it's basically stopped recording photoshop and illustrator documents (although it records the total time spent in the app)
This seems very unreliable

Inappropriate? Can you tell me which version of Photoshop and Illustrator you are running?
Also, could it be that the document name changed as you made modifications and saved (say, from Untitled to Design-01)? In this case, time in Slife would be split among different document names.
In any case, I am going to check and see if I observe this behavior. Thanks so much for your feedback.

Inappropriate?CS4
Well, the problem is that it doesn't record it at all (or split files). There are no photoshop files at all on the long list of documents on my account. There are loads of safari pages (so that seems to be working), some mail activity and one or two other things. No PS though. I found slife 2.0 and tried it, and it seems to be the same problem there. It records the program (it says that I've used PS for X minutes, but it doesn't list any documents at all in the document view). It did record Illustrator though, but called the document "artwork" instead of the actual document name. Very odd.
I also tried this:
I started recording using an app called Active Timer (which you might have heard of), the same time that I started Slife (2.0). I used photoshop and illustrator for approximately 20 min each, and then checked the recorded time.
The result: Active Timer seemed to have accurately recorded time spent in both apps, but slife only recorded illustrator (or PS, I'm not entirely sure which one it was).
I know that Slife and Active Timer record a bit different from each other (idle time, start time etc,) but it shouldn't have been that off.
I'm can try for a whole day using Slife, Active Timer, and a manual timer, to see which one is the most accurate. Maybe it would make it easier for you guys to find the problem. -
Inappropriate? That's great info. We'll be looking into this today or tomorrow.

Inappropriate?Slife is not recording my work on InDesign CS3 properly. I am using a MacBook Pro and running Mac OS 10.5.7. Is this a known bug?
I’m confused

We have recently added support for Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Adobe Illustrator CS4. We will offer InDesign CS4 soon.
Adobe keeps changing certain characteristics of their apps from version to version and makes it hard to keep up!
