don't display unused applications

I have many apps in the tracking window but only use a few. it would be better if only apps with data would show up in the app with the option to show all if requested.

i use safari and mail for example and photoshop but why do i have textedit there all the time when i use it every few days only?

being able to move apps up and down would be great too.
