Drag and Drop easy.
Drag and Drop documents. I can add programs via drag and drop under preferences (in fact, am encouraged to), but if I want to add a document or file that is related to an Activity, I have to type in the file name.
Another possible option. I want to do this because I want to track time spent working in Word (once I figure out the untitled problem). Maybe there should be a way to drag and drop a document onto an Activity. In the day window, I can see a list of Activities. And I've been working on this file (CCON2008Parks.doc) for the last hour. The file belongs in the CCON activity. I wish I could drag and drop it over upon the CCON activity icon.
Or, maybe folder-based tracking. Yeah. Since I file all my projects in a folder, Maybe if it allowed me to watch a folder, and assign any file I open from there to a certain Activity....
Basically, it's really easy to keep track of time in general, but if I want to keep time based on an Activity, it isn't quite so easy. I'd love to see that become easier.

Inappropriate? This is a great idea. For setting activities, there's one thing you can do.
When you have a document or web page opened for about 10 secs or, click on the Slife menu icon. You can also set the activity from there (the two "Set ..." menu items at the bottom) -
Inappropriate?Gotcha. Thanks. I couldn't see that in word, because of menu bar overload, but I took out a couple icons and now it fits. Thanks.
Still think that giving people the option to do things whichever way works for them would be a good thing, but now I have a better grasp of how the program works. -
Inappropriate?...Take, for instance, this evening. I forgot to turn on my CCON project, so I just spent four hours doing nothing, according to Slife. I can't see any idea how to manually add things that I've already accomplished to Slife. If I were able to select what I've worked on and drag it onto the activity, then it would track that I spent more than an hour working today...

Inappropriate?Right. It would be nice to set activities retroactively as well.
