How can I export data?
How can I export data from the Mac version of Slife? I like the graphic view of my activities but I really need a nice chronological list in plain text; it's too hard to mouse over 3x3-pixel blobs when trying to figure out which projects I was working on during the day.

Inappropriate? We are working on an export feature that will let you export your data in XML and also CSV formats. This will be available in an upcoming release.
Having said this, how about the "Web & Documents" view? Doesn't that view help you get to the info you need? -
Thanks for the reply.. For my particular need the issue is that, as far as I can tell, the Web and Documents view isn't available chronologically, but just as a summary list. I'm trying to use Slife to keep better track of my workday, which means seeing that I was working on a particular client's files from 10 til noon. Seeing that I was working on one of their files for 15 combined minutes throughout the day doesn't help with that, because I'm looking for a sense of the flow of my day.
I've tried clicking on the files and looking at the graph show which hour(s) they were accessed in, but there are just way too many files to have that be effective.
thanks! -
Inappropriate? It's true, I agree that the Web and Documents view wouldn't help much in that case, since it's not a chronological listing of your docs/pages. You can follow your activities chronologically through the day view, but you do have to click on the dots for more info...

Inappropriate?Hi -- is there any update on when Slife will have an export capability? I'm trying the system now and would like to adopt it -- it works great. But for me and for many of my colleagues, the "roach motel" problem of data that checks in to the program and can never be checked out is a show stopper.

Inappropriate?Update -- I see that the sqlite database is available. With the right python library, this should give me what I want, although a standard export feature to CSV would save a lot of time and trouble.
