How do I assign an activity after I do something?
I'd like to be able to assign an activity to an event after I've started it. What often happens in my usage is that I don't even think about engaging in an activity until I'm already doing it. Yes, yes, I try to focus on one thing at a time, but I can drift off into another activity too easily. What I'd like to be able do is say, "hey, that webpage was actually for work" and assign it to an activity afterward.
My ideal scenario is one where Slife would prompt me every once to check if my activity was still relevant or something like that.
Is there anything I can do?

Hi Kraig - When we first built Slife, we thought that it would behave like an airplane black box, recording your activities diligently in the background without much user intervention. That's why it's not possible to go back and make changes, or even delete items.
So, to answer your question, it's not possible to assign an activity to an item after the fact, with the current Slife release. But we are working hard to provide this functionality in the not too distant future!

Inappropriate?I'd also appreciate this feature. I'm always jumping between applications and doing not-work-related things while I'm "working" and therefore it would be nice to reassign activities to different projects afterwards. Also possibility to completely remove an event would nice, even though it doesn't fit with the "black-box"-idea.

Inappropriate? That's great to know. Thanks for your feedback. We will definitely take this account as we work on Slife 2.0 (which is starting very very soon)

Inappropriate? So, I haven't noticed how to do this in Slife 2.0. Did this feature get missed/dropped/deferred?
-
Inappropriate? What you will be able to do very soon is assign an activity to any of the web page/document titles that Slife has observed. You will go to the Web & Documents view and be able to right-click on an item there and assign an activity to to.
Do you think that will be helpful enough to you?
I’m confident

Inappropriate?so...when will this feature be available? I think you're product is great, but it'd be nice to be to categorize my webpages/documents so I can see just how much time I'm spending NOT working. :p
-
Inappropriate? Also, it would be nice to be able to mark an item in the Web and Documents pane as assigned or not assigned (to make the assignments of items more efficient) :)

Inappropriate? We are making some changes for v2.1 that might or might not include this feature. We are still looking into it. But we are very aware that everyone loves this (including us!)
