Ideas for the web interface (must-haves)
1. Filter through document recordings based on application
2. Filter through document recordings based on time spend (1-30 second website visists are pretty useless)
3. Bulk actions for documents to be able to delete many at a time, or to assign many documents to one activity.

Inappropriate? Thanks! These are some great suggestions. The new version of Slife is very new and we are going to be including lots of new features in the coming weeks.
-
Inappropriate?I'm sure that you had already thought of those features, but I thought it might be useful for you to get it confirmed from users. As it stands now, I won't continue after my 30 day trial, but if the app works as intended in a not too distant future, I will definitely get a team subscription for our company (3 employees so far, but growing quickly!).

No problem Adam. Lots of improvements coming up! -
Inappropriate?Filtering is important. I'm also missing the ability to create and edit activities from the Applications or Web/Doc list. I also need to be able to change the name of an activity. I am loving the product though...really helping me figure out where I spend my time and I like the idea of setting goals too....which reminds me....goals need to be able to be set daily as well as weekly or monthly.
-
The idea of weekly and monthly goal settings is interesting, but I find that it's hard to specify what those should be. Hours per week, per month? -
I (personally) can get my head around: minutes and hours per day; hours and days per week (can I do a 1/2-hour per week?...if not, might want minutes too); and hours, days, and weeks per month. -
Inappropriate?I second the call for the ability to "assign many documents to one activity"; also, I would find it really helpful to be able to see whether I have already assigned a document to an activity without having to click and bring up the little window. A summary of activities assigned in the space to the right of "Activities | Delete", for instance, or a mouse-over summary.
Speaking of that little window... After one day of use, I have 8 activities set up and would likely set up at least a few more (lots of concurrent projects!), but when I click on the "Activities" link, the popup window is always positioned a bit too far down on the screen, so I have to scroll down to be able to click the "Save" button.
As well as changing the default positioning and/or font and/or line spacing, it would be nice to be able to just hit "Enter" to save.
AND (sorry, I get carried away with user interface stuff) could you make the activity name a label for the checkbox so we don't have to click so precisely? Ok, maybe I'm being lazy, but it's a behaviour I've come to expect with forms.
Finally (for now : ) there are some sites I will continue to use for reference in the future on other projects -- is there a way to assign certain urls to activities for limited periods of time? Say, starting July 12th, my visits to w3schools.com are all for this brand new project, not the old one...
More soon, I imagine.... Thanks for the really interesting and promising tool!
