Make slife visible again
I've made slife hidden and I've disabled icon in the menu bar too. When I start slife app, I can't see any menu. How can I make slife visible in the dock again? Thanks

Inappropriate?Ah! I thought that during our tests we had taken care of this issue. We need to go back and look into this. Thanks for reporting this bug. To bring the menu bar icon back, open up the Terminal application (under Applications>Utilities) and type:
defaults write com.slifelabs.slife "Menu Bar Icon" -bool YES
This should bring the Slife menu bar icon back. -
Inappropriate?I am having the same problem and that Terminal command did not fix the problem.

Inappropriate?Are you running 10.5?

Inappropriate?I am having the same problem. Yes i have 10.5

Inappropriate? If you tried the Terminal command and it didn't work, you can try to change the Preferences file directly.
1. Quit Slife
2. Go to 'Your Home Directory'/Library/Preferences
3. Open the 'com.slifelabs.slife.plist'
4. Find an entry that matches 'Menu Bar Icon' (there might be lots of entries)
5. Turn it from 'No' to 'Yes'
6. Save the file
7. Re-launch Slife
See if that helps! -
Inappropriate?mh, i don't find "No", there is only "true", i've opened it with bbedit, is that ok?

Inappropriate?BBEdit is great for this....
Ok, if the menu bar option is on, how about the "Slife Visible"? Is it set to "true" or "false"? Set it to "true" and check if you can see Slife when you launch it.
If that doesn't work, one thing you can try is rename the preferences file to something like "com.slifelabs.slife.original.plist" and start Slife again. You are basically reseting the app that way. Problem is, you would lose your preference settings...
