Monitoring applications running in the background
One idea that I think would really improve Slife would be the monitoring of applications running in the background. For example- keeping track of how much time iChat is open as well as when it is used. This could be used for productivity reasons- you may not be using iChat, but having it in the background can be distracting. From what I know now, Slife only monitors programs that are being used.

Inappropriate? That's an idea. I wonder how useful it would be though. Simply having an app open doesn't offer a good indication of how it affects your productivity. It's hard to measure its impact.
What do you think? -
Inappropriate?True. There are other programs though where that might be useful- iTunes for example. Even though music is playing, Slife doesn't track iTunes use. I still think Slife is a brilliant program, and an option for this would only make it better.

Inappropriate?iTunes is a good example. We did take into account some of these exceptional scenarios in Slife 1.0
