Proxy exception in Windows

When I try to run SLife in Windows I get a proxy authentication exception, how can I configure the proxy in SLife? In fact, why does SLife need to connect to the net? Updating?

Hi - Slife does connect to the Internet initially, just to see if there's a new version out. Right now Slife doesn't let you configure a proxy, which is unfortunate, because this is something absolutely non-critical to the operation of the app that you are having problems with.
We'll be addressing this ASAP!

Inappropriate?It fails in downloading SQL Server compact from Ms Site because we have a policy that does not allow 'special administrator' accounts to access the proxies... please keep this in mind when designing your solution. -

Inappropriate?I have the same problem, corporate firewall that not only is proxied, but is also authenticating.
Most apps that include proxy support only have a host/port and forget about user/pwd.
