Slife doesnt track opened documents in Adobe CS3 programs
Slife does't track which documents I edit in e.g. Photoshop (or Illustrator) CS3 - it only tells me, that I've had Photoshop open for let's say 3 hours, and not which documents I've been working on during that time. Why is that? (I'm on PC with XP)

Inappropriate?Does it show documents that you work on in other apps? Say Notepad? Or this is a problem that you are having with Adobe CS3 specifically?
-
Inappropriate?I noticed this only in CS3, since I only use that. However I just found out, that it tracks the document's name (filename) only if I have it maximized within Photoshop.
Looks like, that Slife tracks only the text in program's title bar. That's not very convenient, because thus I have dozens of entries from Firefox, when I'm reading my RSS feeds in Google reader, since Google reader shows you the number of unread threads in Firefox's title bar... so Slife's tracked web page entries look like this: "Google Reader (245)", "Google Reader (241)", "Google Reader (237)", "Google Reader (236)", "Google Reader (235)", etc... There's literally dozens of those.
When I work in Photoshop, I never maximize my files, because I usually have a few opened and I'm switching between them constantly. I also need to have 2 or 3 files visible at once most of the time... So maximizing files is out of the question for me. -
Inappropriate? It's true. We are aware of the problem with sites like Google Reader, and Slife only tracks the document name through the title bar. But it should track the doc name whether the page is maximized or not.

Inappropriate? This happens with TextMate too. Document titles aren't tracked unless the application window is maximized. I've just started testing Slife so haven't noticed any other apps where that occurs.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? Here's the reason why this is happening. Because of how Slife tracks activities in document windows, your mouse must be within the window for it to know that you are working on that document. That's why it works when you maximize it. This is not ideal, but it's how we've managed to track document activity automatically - we hope to have a better solution and are investigating options.
