Slife not accurately recording Photoshop CS4 usage
Though Slife is wonderful, and I'd gladly pay a bit of money for it, it's not accurately reporting which documents I'm using in Photoshop CS4. It labels as "Untitled" files with clear file names.
Strangely, there's no problem using Dreamweaver CS4 – Slife records all activity there perfectly.

Inappropriate?I would like you to do a test - this might help understand what's going on.
Because of the way Slife works, it's important that you are not only using an application but also hovering the mouse over one of the application's windows for Slife to be able to see the window title.
So, launch Photoshop, open a document and start working on it - but make sure that your mouse stays mostly within the document window. See if Slife starts capturing the document title then.
Let me know how it goes. -
Inappropriate? Thanks for responding. I did what you said, and you're absolutely right - any time I click on a tool in the tool panel, it counts that as Untitled, and when I'm messing around in the layers panel and the type panel, they also register as Untitled. Otherwise it registers the window correctly. Since I spend a large amount of time working with the Type tool and with the Layers menu, I get a lot of Untitleds.

Inappropriate? We are always looking for and exploring ways to understand user activity as autonomously as possible. Sometimes the OS imposes some limitations on what kind of visibility is available. I am glad we figured out what was going on!
