Add "Emergency Fund" savings goal
Add an "Emergency Fund" goal/account type. This would require, however, the ability to "partially" withdraw funds.

Inappropriate?@fmkguy,
Thanks much for the suggestion. At this time, we will not be allowing partial withdrawals.
Dave Ramsey is great. We actually quoted him in a recent blog post:

Thanks again for your suggestion! -
Inappropriate?Wow, that was quick!
I'm really excited to have found SmartyPig (about 8 months ago, now, I think), and I'm really, really excited about the 3.25% interest! ;)
So, either way, partial withdrawal or not, I'm still going to be using SmartyPig to track my Emergency Fund. I just means that, in the case of an actual emergency, I'll need to shut down the account...and start another one after everything's been taken care of.
Thanks for the GREAT JOB you guys are doing. I appreciate the vision of your company and will do my best to spread the word! -
