Do Friends need an account to contribute?
I set up an online piggy bank for my daughter and wanted to see if friends / family need to create an account with smartypig in order to contribute to it or if they are able to contribute w/o an account.

Inappropriate?@Kevin Thanks for your post. Friends and family can contribute to your public goal using their Visa or MasterCard whether they have a SmartyPig account or not. Credit card contributions require a standard 2.9% processing fee. Friends and family with a SmartyPig account also have the option to use their funding source to contribute to your public goal without the processing fee. How is the 2.9% charged? Does it come out of the amt added to the savings accout or is billed to contributor? -
