Why did you not inform us about your recent interest rate increase?
I understand why you recently increased your interest rate from 3.9 to 3.25. I am disappointed but I understand. However, it would have been good PR for you to let us know about it and why it was necessary,

Inappropriate?@cazzi Good morning, and thanks for contacting us. Interest decreases or increases do not require prior notice per our terms and conditions, as it would be impractical to do so given the frequency that they can change. It is also worth noting that when the Fed dropped rates to near zero, banks, across the board, had to react by lowering their own rates. When the economy stabilizes, and interest rates begin to rise, please understand that we will be raising our rates again, as well. We have every intention of having one of the most competitive rates in the country. Let me know if I can help you with anything else. Thanks, Tiffany

Not to mention this is still better than you can get just about anywhere else. And none of the other places will let you know either. -
Inappropriate?Tiffany,
I understand that manual notification would be impractical and a waste of some unfortunate employee's time. However, I assume there is some hook that could be created to implement an automatic notification system that reflects interest changes?
I don't see why an automatic notification couldn't be sent to users' inboxes any time the interest rate changes. With an option to turn off those notifications, of course (which is something that needs to be implemented in general, IMO). Once this tool is set up, it wouldn't take anyone's time and thus would not be impractical, but would in fact be incredibly useful.
Yes, your terms say you don't have to, but if you COULD do it, wouldn't you want to? It would be another way that SP sets itself apart from the crowd. I would be attracted to the idea myself. -
Inappropriate?@Ben Thank you for your suggestion. I will pass this along to the development team for future consideration. We appreciate your feedback! Tiffany
