Cross Spectrum calibrated mics???
Hi,
Does anyone know anything about these calibrated Behringer mics?
http://www.cross-spectrum.com/measure...
Is the .frd file supplied with these mics the same as a "mic calibration" file? I've read through the FuzzMeasure manual a couple times, and it says you can export .frd files, but says nothing about importing them. Can this .frd file be imported and used as a mic calibration file?
I'm using FuzzMeasure for room acoustics measurements.
Sorry, I'm new to all this. I'm trying to wrap my head around it all, but the manual leaves a lot to be desired.
Thanks!

Inappropriate?Guy,
The calibration file should work without any issues, as far as I know. In fact, I've recommended Cross Spectrum for calibration services in the past, and I'm glad to see he's now offering a full calibrated mic package. Hopefully this'll put an end to folks using random calibration files they find online for their Behringer mics. :P
With regards to the microphone calibration file format, I aimed to make it very flexible. There is no hard-defined rule for calibration files because there are so many text formats out there (.txt, .frd, .csv) and a bunch of variants on these which are effectively the same data. Generally when someone has trouble with a specific mic calibration format, I ask for the file and try to make it work for them (either by massaging the data, or modifying FuzzMeasure to import that newly-discovered format if it's possible).
Hope this helps.
