Does not record; tape counter stays at 0:00.00 MacBookPro

Version 1.2 - Does not record; tape counter stays at 0:00.00 MacBookPro

I tried changing preferences, rebooting my Mac laptop several times, closing and reopening tapedeck, still I cannot record a file recording. And yes, I did pay $25 and registered my serial number for the software.

I made a single recording and now the software stopped working, does not record, tape counter stays at zero length.

Please tell me what I need to know in order to get this software to make new recordings.
And once you do that, make the answer known and easily found on a manual for this thing. Productive people have to try to make use of software...
