Inappropriate?TapeDeck doesn't allow you to export MP3 files right now. You can import the tapes into iTunes and have them save as MP3 files by using the Advanced > 'Convert Selection to MP3' feature.
In order to get this feature enabled in iTunes, make sure to select the 'MP3 Encoder' from the 'Import Using' popup. You'll find this in the Importing tab of the Advanced section of the iTunes preferences. -
Inappropriate?i just emailed it to myself and then dragged it to itunes. it worked!
Go to tape deck and choose file>email tape
I tried to copy it directly to itunes but I had no luck that way.
Hope that helps! -
You should not have to email it to yourself to get a tape into iTunes. You should be able to hold down the command key and drag a tape out of TapeDeck and onto the iTunes icon, or into the iTunes library if the iTunes window is already open.
Alternatively, you can use the File > Copy Tape to iTunes feature to transfer the tape into your iTunes library. It will appear in a special TapeDeck playlist for your convenience (so you don't have to spend time tracking it down in a large library).
