multichannel playback for measurement possible ?
Hi, would it be possible to have multi-channel or at least dual-channel playback in FuzzMeasure ?
Right now its a little bit difficult to analyse room modes (and optimise them) because users can not measure the response of multiple speakers (for example two far field monitors) at the same time.
Regards
Chris

Inappropriate? You can achieve multichannel measurements using Y adapters.
When I designed FuzzMeasure, I made a conscious decision to not implement multichannel playback, and worked around that constraint. Many folks in the measurement field seem to be fine with this decision.
Some folks have come along to request this, though, so you're not alone. When I get around to re-doing the audio output chain for FuzzMeasure in the future, this will be one of the first 'limitations' to go away.
However, it will result in further complication of the audio setup. The more possibilities that I provide, the more my users seem to get confused in the end. -
Inappropriate?Ah... thanks a lot,
I didnt think of splitting the signal even though I already have enough signal splitters lying around here. :)
As for your concerns about more possibilites, depends on the user group you are targeting. As for casual users I think its already very easy compared to some PC counterparts.
Well thanks again signal splitting will of course work right now.
