Sversa We are pretty much committed to our current path with #Slicehost VPSes - for the moment.

Snapact Hi I saw your post and I was just wondering what you were looking for in your new IT environment?

Snapact I've hear Slicehost is good. But I'm pretty content with RimuHosting VPSs. They offer good service too, and for good price too. :)

Snapact Can say bit of a personal pref. IMO, CentOS/RHEL have some polish as a server distro than Ubuntu. Just polish. Some conveniences.

gaveen any particular reason for choosing CentOS? I'm using the #ubuntu server version, and I think it's pretty fabulous. Personal pref?

Snapact Yes, Apache is little too heavy specially if you have a VPS. I agree to all of your choices, except I'd run CentOS as the distro.

#nginx, #mod_wsgi, #memcached, #postgres, #ubuntu - looking like the beginning of the 2nd era. That's right - avoiding #apache.
