Hello Melissa,
I just logged into your account, created a photo album called "Test" and successfully uploaded several sample images using our Quick Upload tool without experiencing any issues.
I tested this functionality using Mozilla Firefox 3.0.1(current version).
It sounds like you either have a personal firewall, and/or internet security software installed that is blocking proper communication between your web browser and our image servers, or your Quick Upload tool installation has become corrupt.
If you think this issue might be caused by the latter reason:
if you use Mozilla Firefox-
If you have an older version of the Snapfish Quick Upload tool installed for Firefox, please be sure to follow these instructions prior to installing the new version:
1. Close the Firefox web browser
2. Right-click on your "Start" menu and select "Explore".
3. Click on the "+" symbol next to your local hard drive, "C:"
4. Click on the "+" symbol next to "Program Files".
5. Click on the "+" symbol next to "Mozilla Firefox".
6. Click on the "components" folder.
7. Right click on "snapfishScript.xpt", and select "delete". When prompted for confirmation of deletion, click "Yes".
8. Select the "plugins" folder in Windows Explorer.
9. Right click on "npsnapfish.dll", and select "delete". When prompted for confirmation of deletion, click "Yes".
To install the new version of the Quick Upload tool for Firefox:
1. Login to your Snapfish account.
2. Click on “upload photos” from the homepage.
3. Enter your new album information, then click on “upload to this album”.
4. On the following page, click on the “Quickupload tool” link on the right hand side of the page.
5. When prompted by a popup window, click on “Save File”.
6. Save the file to a known destination on your desktop or another folder on your computer’s hard drive.
7. Once the download is complete, close Firefox and go to where you saved the Quick Upload plugin installer.
8. Open the installer.
9. When prompted, click “Run”
10. Follow the InstallShield Wizard instructions.
11. Once the installer has completed, open Firefox and log back in to your Snapfish account.
12. Click on upload photos, and after a brief software update, you will be able to use the Firefox version of our Quick Upload tool to upload your digital photos.
Thank you.

Inappropriate?I'm having the same trouble. I updated my Mozilla a few weeks ago, and now I can't upload to snapfish. It used to just lock up, but now I just go to a blue screen. HELP!!!
-
Inappropriate?I've been using Snapfish forever, and now all of the sudden, I can upload. I go to do it, and I just get a blue screen. So annoying! I have emailed customer service, so we'll see what they say.

Inappropriate?Hello,
This issue occurred last night and this morning due to a site patch that did not work as intended.
We just resolved this issue, so you should be able to login to your Snapfish account now, and use our Quick Upload tool to upload multiple digital photos to your photo albums as you normally would.
Thank you. -
I no longer get the blue screen, but I still have a problem. I get to select the album to upload to or choose to use a new one, then after that I go to the next page and it says please wait and it keeps saying that. It never loads for me to select my pics. It works fine in IE, but in Mozilla, it still isn't working. Whatever you did helped - in that I don't just get blue screen, I actually get further, but still not all the way. -
i am having the same problem where ie closes and reopens. i have emailed snapfish 3 times in teh last 2 weeks but get a form reply each time. i have deleted my cookies, i have uninstalled and reinstalled quick upload and i have tried "waiting a few hours" which is all snapfish has recommended so far. none of these has worked. if you have any help for me Colin, that would be wonderful! -
Inappropriate?Hello,
I will need for you to reply to this post with the email address that is associated with your Snapfish account, so I can investigate this matter further for you.

I just tried the instructions above and got this error "We're sorry-there's been a system error." I went back and restored those two files, because that must not be the problem. My anti virus software stopped updating about 70 days ago, so I called their tech support and they had me uninstall it. The firewall software is still on there, but it is disabled. It seems odd that disabled software (which has always been disabled) could cause the problem. I had this same problem the other night before the security software was even touched. CA's tech support is suppose to contact me in the next 72 hours, so I will make sure they fix this. At least IE is working now, so I can click over to it for uploading. Seems odd, that IE will work but not Mozilla. -
Colin, do you know if there are site problems right now? I restored those two files you had me delete, and now I can't even log onto Snapfish, let alone upload. I only followed the instructions above, and then restored when it didn't work. Please tell me the site is having problems... -
Inappropriate?Hello,
We are currently experiencing website wide issues that are affecting many aspects of site functionality.
Please try to test this in a few hours. Thank you.

Colin, I am all set. I tried the instructions again, downloaded the new uploader tool, and everything works great! When I tried it the first time, it must have been when you were having system wide problems. Thank you so much for curing my computer!!! -

Inappropriate?Hello,
I just logged into your account, created a photo album called "Test", and successfully uploaded several sample images to this album using our Quick Upload tool and Internet Explorer 7, and experienced no issues in doing so.
This sounds like an issue with your installation of Internet Explorer, which unfortunately is something you would need to have addressed with Microsoft technical support.
I would highly recommend that you try downloading and installing the free alternate web browser, Mozilla Firefox at www.mozilla.com, and try using that browser instead for this task on our website.
If you do not want to do that, then please use my previous suggestion using the http://www.snapfish.com/flexupload URL instead.
Thank you.
