Unable to export to SD, Android Client Version 1.08
I'm testing out using the Android client version 1.08 on my HTC Hero. It looks great. Except I have a problem - for some reason I get an error when I attempt to export my notes to the SD card. I've only got a couple of notes, but this is a key feature for me. Any help?

Inappropriate?Some of the main reasons why 3banana would report an error trying to export notes would be if your SD card was either not mounted, mounted as read-only, or is full.
Can you verify that your Hero's SD card is mounted, writable, and has free space? -

- is mounted correctly
- is mounted as read-only
- has about 400mb free
I managed to export notes from another program to the card without problem...
...ahh - perhaps that's interfering? I'll have another go and let you know.
Any other ideas? -
Inappropriate?The card is mounted as read only? Since you mentioned you exported from another program to the card, I'm wondering if that was just a typo.
It's unlikely the other program's exports would be interfering; 3banana uses standard Android OS calls to get the location of the SD card in the filesystem, creates a folder named "3banana" at the top level of the card, and saves its files within that folder.
I suppose it's possible that HTC did something slightly odd with the Hero -- we don't have one here to test with, so we'll have to do a little research.
Had to been able to export with 3banana previously without issue, or is this the first time you'd tried? -

I've tried removing the other program and exporting...still get an error. -

Inappropriate?Any answers yet please. Using Astro I've had a look at the SD card and the 3banana directory has been created. The properties say the folder has drw permissions. There is 12gb free on the card. When the card is mounted you can copy files to the folder.
