Privacy settings on Snapvine?
I'm trying to change my privacy settings from Friends-Only to Everyone but this option is grayed out. Is there a reason for this?
Also is there a way to hide my voice comments while keeping my profile/widget public to all users?

Inappropriate?I understand the bit about approving comments however as I've said before I cannot change my profile privacy settings to "Everyone" it's grayed out.
I've tried Firefox and Internet Explorer is there simply no way to change this option or am I missing something? -
Inappropriate?Odd that it is grayed out. Normally you should be able to click the button next to 'Everyone' to change the setting. Snapvine staff will have to help you on that one. You could click the red 'Beta Feedback' button on your home page and send them info, system, profile URL (address) from your Snapvine account and email ... that way they can check it out and get back to you.
Hope that helps.

Inappropriate?I've already contacted tech support regarding the grayed out button so I'm still waiting for a reply. In the meantime I checked the HTML source code for: http://www.snapvine.com/user/edit_pri...
and I'm looking at the following lines of code:
input disabled="disabled" id="friends_only_profile" name="friends_only_profile" type="radio" value="Everyone"
and
input checked="checked" id="friends_only_profile" name="friends_only_profile" type="radio" value="Friends-only"
Either I'm missing something or there's a very bad typing error: first radio button is clearly marked as "disabled" furthermore the button name is "friends_only_profile" not "Everyone" weird huh?
Could someone please verify whether they can change their privacy settings to "Everyone" just to confirm the fact I'm not the only one with this problem. -
Inappropriate?It works for me.
-
Inappropriate? If that's the case then I can only conclude I'm been somehow denied the right to set my privacy setting to "Everyone".
I'll contact support again and have my account looked into hopefully I’ll get some answers.
