Liking my own messages
I want to use the API to include all liked messages from the day in our nightly metrics email that goes out to our investors, mentors, etc.
The problem is I can't like my own messages which means I can't post something with the purpose of getting it in our nightly email. Why can't I like my own posts? After all, I usually like the stuff I write the most. :)
I'm a big fan of your product & am stoked to try out the API.

Inappropriate?Hi Josh,
Glad to hear that you're enjoying the product!
Preventing likes on your own messages was a product decision which I think makes sense although I can see how it's causing problems in this case.
One thing you could try is using tags to generate the email, you can add tags to other people's messages by including "#tag" in a comment. Then you can filter using tag=<tag name="true"> in the API request. Or you could tag your own messages and then combine those with messages liked by other people.
Let us know if you've got more questions and keep the feedback coming!</tag>
