Problem attaching files
I do not seem to be able to attach files to the first post in a thread. After I share the post I can attach a file as a comment, but I cannot seem to get files to attach when making the original post.

Sorry to hear that attachments are not working for you. Could you please let me know the email address you had used to sign up for your Socialcast account. Also a screenshot of what you are seeing would be immensely helpful.
What browser/OS are you using?

When I click on the "Attach file" link under the Share Box a new finder window opens; I select the file I want to attach and hit the "select" button; the finder window closes but nothing happens (sorry, nothing for me to capture in a screenshot).
I am using Firefox version 3.5.2 and Mac OS X version 10.5.7. -
