Ad banner display problems
See the attached for what is an intermittent but frequent problem with the bottom ad banner appearing at the top, as viewed with Firefox on Vista. (Standard Adsense code in the relevant boxes in Admin). Refreshing the page solves it, but it's a nuisance.

Inappropriate?Tim are you just plopping ad code in the box or are you placing it in a div?
-
Inappropriate?Just where it says to put it - in the box(es)
-
Inappropriate?try adding div tags around the code. This seems like the ad codes fault and not SocialGO. The javascript looks to be creating two ads.
-
Inappropriate? In fact, Ryan, the javascript isn't creating a second ad. It's the bottom banner code displaying at the top of the page rather than in the correct position.
This has the potential to be an issue for a lot of networks, as the code is standard Adsense
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? You should wrap these in div tags. The code box is just placing the ad code at the bottom of the page. When you place javascript in a page it can take over the page and do weird things i.e. pop ups. Google ads shouldn't do this but I've had it happen before.
-
Inappropriate?Tim is it the same ad each time it displays wrong? Sometimes google will pass bad code and if its the same ad this might be the case. Also try specifying width and height attributes to the div.
div style="width: 728px;" -
Inappropriate? It varies, to be honest. I'll try the div style suggestion and see what happens.
-
Inappropriate?this really shouldn't be happening even if you don't use divs but i'm suggesting you tell the browser to contain the div to a specific dimension. This could be a SocialGO javascript interfering with the google javascript. It could be that two ads are being used....who knows these things till its tracked down.

Inappropriate?none of my adbrite codes work in the ads & custom html section-- I'll try the div codes and see if that works.

Inappropriate?I contacted adbrite but they never responded
