can't see person on other end of video chat!

when the person on the other end "accepts", you only see yourself in the smaller window on the right, but don't see the other person at all. the larger window is blank....tried this w/ a few folks on my network and it won't work! am i missing something?
 
sad I’m eager to get this figured out!
