Fantastic or Fly-by-night?
I've set up and have been playing around with your tools in hopes of finding the "perfect" online community for me and my coworkers. We want to be able to collaborate, chat and brainstorm without having to exchange a bunch of emails through our Microsoft Outlook accounts... I love SocialGo so far, but what's going to be so great about SocialGo vs ALL the other Online Network building tools out there - like Ning?? I don't want to setup our new network, then SocialGo shuts down for lack of popularity.

Inappropriate?Hi there. We are working hard on improving the service at the moment and creating a unique space for people wanting to develop online communities.
In terms of differentiators between us and other platforms, there are loads of functionality differences. We have things such as a full API, member billing system, video chat, custom HTML etc and a new modular site builder coming very soon.
In addition there are a set of data ownership guarantees that are set out in our terms of service which aim to give you piece of mind about ownership of the data and what should happen to that data if you want to leave or we suspend your accounts.

Inappropriate?After reading this thread, and recent performance complaints, I still didn't see a good answer to the question about how much funding SocialGo has etc. It's great to be able to export your data but a serious drag if members would need to sign up again somewhere else if SocialGo socialstops. Thanks for any more info to give me confidence!
