No Pic, No Pass
It would be great if there were a way to set our networks to prompt members to upload a profile pic before they can be accepted. Any chance of this happening?

You can essentially do this, all you have to do is det your default image to an image with some text saying 'upload an image of yourself'. It's not the best solution but it does promt your users to take some action and i have seen this method used on many networks.
