Paypal Closed My Account becuase I have an adult website on Zocku.com!
I never thought it would happen to me until I just read my email one hour ago.
Since Decemeber 2008, I never had a problem with the billing system on SG/Zocku and Paypal ever actually closing my account forever because I have an adult site.
I never mentioned anywhere in my paypal account any direct link to the site or any similar reference to the sites address. I figured they would easily just close my account if I did. Well they proved me wrong.
I never liked paypal after they were bought by ebay. Those sneaky people over at paypal.
I will be forced to close my site with you guys at SG/Zocku if you can't bring a new form of accepting payment for adult sites before the month of June is over.
BELOW IS THE PAYPAL EMAIL THEY SENT ME:
The PayPal User Agreement states that PayPal, at its sole discretion,
reserves the right to limit an account for any violation of the User
Agreement, including the Acceptable Use Policy. Under the Acceptable Use
Policy, PayPal may not be used to send or receive payments for certain
sexually oriented materials or services or for items that are considered
obscene.

I hope no one who has an adult site with zocku is paying to use the membership billing.
I tried to play paypal like the army, "Don't ask, don't tell".
Untill you guys can use something like CCBill.com then maybe zocku needs to shut down the membership billing. -

I hope the SG/Zocku team will put some more speed on developing the new payment system and make it their first priority!! Although i'm afraid because we didnt hear about it for a while..

btw, i believe the monthly payments for Zocku sites with PP are done by Get On With It LTD not by Zocku -

I don't think just making a new paypal account will help. I already had 2 different paypal accounts. A Business one and a Premier one. They closed both.
One was tied to my credit union and the business account to my B.O.A account.
I would have to open a new bank account with a different home address and name so that when paypal do there verification nothing will link back to the closed accounts.
That's what a friend of mine did when he had a bad sale happen on ebay. Supposedly he made a new paypal account 4 to 5 months later from the time they first closed his first account. 3 weeks into having his new account they closed it because his info was the same as a "closed by paypal" account.
So I guess they behave like google with adsense. Once you do something out of their acceptable use policy even if by mistake, they ban you forever.
Well lets hope I get this job, I have an interview for later today. 7 months of looking for a job and still no hire. My pockets are really really going to be feeling it now. -

anyone see anything wrong with alex's response but me? i mean he said it will be ready in the next few weeks and his reply shows he made that coment 3 months ago.worst part of it all,everytime i turn around their are abunch of new widgets that cost money.they went from $19.99 to $49.99 aslo.than there is also the one free widget that we got when they first opened the widget store.so 2 full pages of pay widgets and 1 page with only 1 free widget.alex my man,i don't think you guys are thinking about the future and ow long people will be into these free social networks,when you guys don't really make sure we are set and all the bugs are removed before you started charging.because we need something like.1)make sure every member can check that they got an automatic verification in their emails before they can participate on our networks.too many people using fake info and fake emails.fake emails mean they don't get our messages we send on broadcasts.this means they can forget to log in sometime or when we send them a message that makes them want to log in to our sites.they may join,enjoy the site and never return than forget about i.messages we send are ways to remind them to log in.also the sign up should detect if the person is under 18 they can't join because of their ages.when someone uploads a profile photo it should only appear in their profile not public photos.when they appear in public photos i always have to remove them.photos,should only go in the proper files only.also the tab that says members online now,should be accurate and that has been going on for way to long.i do understand that it costs money to run this business for zocku so you guys are trying to re-coop or make some for your work,but so do we.ever since i started paying my increased bandwidth and storage fees each month,i have been in nothing but over draft at my bank and that's no lie.keeping my site so far has been nothing but painful economically to the point i know i'm going to have to give up on it.i worked to hard to get it going and i can't even purchase widgets you create because i never have money in the bank long enough.if you guys are not going to release that promise of us being able to charge,than point us to where we can get credit cards processed if you no where,because i need to find away to pay for bandwidth and storgae other than out of m own pockets. and if you know a place make sure they process payments for adult sites before you send the link my friend.Watch & share femdom & foot fetish videos http://www.thefetishrepublic.com

Thinking about making the site free for the current members and stop accepting new members until this new system is available for us..
I've contact with a ccbill employee as we speak, if they can add their payment system on my site i might take that.. but i prefer to take your service of course...

Inappropriate?easy hack. Create a blogger blog or other free site. Put a paypal button on this free blog / site. Then manually add people who pay through that separate link. The reason paypal found your site is because they can track ip clicks. So add a link on the front page of your Zocku network to the site/ page where the button is.
If paypal blocked then get a google checkout account. The fee is half that of paypal. -

Inappropriate?google checkout works just like paypal. If paypal hasn't blocked you yet just stay with them but move the button off to another ip. It clearly states on Paypal they will not allow their service on sites with adult content so use at your own discretion.
Oh yeah I think current members would have to redo there membership if you used another button but this would probably be the case anyways if SocialGO went to another payment processor. -

Inappropriate?Google is now requiring new and old users to supply their website info. I'm not sure if google allows for adult content. Their fees are basically the same as paypal.
Well does anyone know how Jommla works? I see they have something called "extensions" one called AEC that allows for a joomla site to bill members with CCbill, 2CO, Paypal, ClickBank and some others. -

We have yesterday completed ClickandBuy.com integration with the Member Billing V2 and it is now live in your Admin System. They support adult content but we are currently finalizing with them the process by which you guys get an account.
The new member billing system which is now live will allow you to charge users to access certain tabs and if they try and go to your Photos tab and that is private, you can upsell them to a premium plan.
We are hoping to hear back from ClickandBuy today and when we do, we will send you all instructions on how to get an account. I am very sorry it took so long!

dude,i try to set up a merchant account with click and buy;and when i tried to and found that i have to pay a $20 set up fee and another $20 for a subscription each month.make matters worst i had to sign up and wait for a reply to further my sign up if they accept to business with me.supposedly they are supposed to contact me back and that has been a few days now and no answer.plus they don' have a phone number to speak to someone in the merchant account division.i mean why all the obstacles man,i already paid for my members billing feature and i did it for nothing so far.what should i do now,because this is ridiculous? they are slowing up the process.
