Why can't my members post events?

I actually checked that, and none of those boxes are checked. Even so, that would still allow people to submit events for moderator approval. Right now, when a member clicks the button to design a new event they get the error saying that they don't have the sufficient privileges.

Thanks Ross, the design was done professionally for Ning originally and was days from completion when they shut us down without notice! I wanted to get more diversity in the banner and have the kind of yelling at the judge, but oh well I'll have to get it redone at some point.

Some interesting new developments with the events problem however. I created a brand new test account right now, went to events and had no problem whatsoever this time. Created a new test event and posted it, but here's the wierd part. The url assigned to it was http://www.chroniccorner.net/events/p... and my new account should have been more like #870. The other thing that makes me thing it tried to tie the event to a different profile is that there are 3 posts that appeared instantly as the event was created that were from someones wall. I think I read a similar post about that earlier, but profile wall posts definitely appeared on my event wall the instant it was created.

I got another e-mail from a member today saying they couldn't upload photos or music, but I'm going to have to look into that before I can verify it or provide more details.

Hmm it seems the problem with uploading content is deeper than I thought, I'm going to create a separate post called Trouble Uploading Content to explain it in more detail.
