API giving lots of issues
We have been using your API for some time now. Recently I have started noticing that the search results quality has gone down quite a bit. After running multiple searches, I have noticed the following problems
1. Twitter results are classified as bookmarks
2. Quantity of results is quite less. Running the same search at 4 different times during the day, I get 834, 456, 398 and 256 results respectively. Not sure why there is such a huge difference in the no of results on the same day!
3. No results from forums or very few
It would be great if you guys could do something about it. Thanks.

Results from twitter can be found aggregated from numerous sources including FriendFeed and StumbleUpon. Any items from twitter with a type of "bookmarks" you should check the source it is likely stumbleupon. These are valid.

The API queries each social media property in real time when you make a request. As such a media source may be unresponsive and the results count would be affected.

This is somewhat out of our control but is something we are endeavoring to improve upon. -

1. If Twitter results are going to classified as bookmarks, getting real-time results from twitter will not be an option. I have conducted a few searches and noticed that twitter results do come under bookmarks but they are not real-time. Infact the results are of the previous day. Is that again valid? If twitter results are not real time, it really defeats the purpose of having them in the results stream. However when I do a search on socialmention.com, I do get real-time twitter results
2. Previously forums were available using Boardreader as source. Is their API no longer available?

Inappropriate?The twitter results you are viewing must be from another source which is not real time. The results should include realtime twitter items in addition to the "bookmark" classified twitter items.
