Social Index for specific date range?
Hiya, is there any way I can see the Social Index of a particular term for a specific date range (more granular than just last month)?

Thanks for request Carla.
A keyword's "Social Index" is based on the number of mentions averaged across the time span of the search. Default timespan is "anytime", but you can set it from Last Month, Last week, Last hour etc. to now. You'll notice that the social index changes based on how far back the search goes.
At the moment we don't support alternate date ranges, such as from Sept 1 - Dec 1, however I will add this to the feature request list.

What does "anytime" exactly mean? A year? A few years?
Also, where can you specify that you are looking for data from Last Month, Last week, etc.?
Thank you,

Hi Lisa,
"anytime" means that SM will not filter out any mentions based on time... however it important to note that SM only brings back 100 or so items per source for any search.
Unfortunately, you cannot specific the date ranges... however we are working on functionality now that will allow you to do such things. -
