Recently created problems in SocialThing about SocialThing Private Beta

Could be wrong, but I don't think that friends Facebook status updates are being pulled into my SocialThing lifestream.

If there was a favicon, then I could "add SocialThing as an app" using Google Chrome that much better. Copy/pasting the existing file from the http server would be a splendidly wonderful thing, if someone could fix that...

Whenever I post something to Brightkite, the post shows up on my friend stream, even though I have select not to show my own updates.

My facebook updates are not showing up. Before, I was getting the reauthenticate message. But that is not showing up anymore. I have selected the option to keep me logged on in the facebook window. But still no updates. Any ideas of what might be wrong?

I was updating with ping.fm. It found the duplicates from brightkite, facebook and pownce but there is a separate duplicate line for plurk.

Broken avatar images for friends - when they change avatar on service it is not picked up by ST! and it shows as a broken image. No way of refreshing this?

This has already been mentioned but I think it's been buried by this point. When you attempt to post through Ping.fm on the iPhone it just says "There was an error. _Resend_". If you tap resend, it does nothing. This happens every time, all the time.

Lifeline seems to be broken - I clicked Refresh in Safari and all I get is an almost empty page with logo, lifeline missing...

I've noticed that sometimes the friendstream updates on the iphone web app and on the actual Socialthing! website become 'stuck' for a while. Meaning the most recent updates are usually from 4 hours ago, when I know that there should be more recent updates in the my friendstream.

SocialThing is not showing a friends account properly in the Lifestream. My wife has a SocialThing account, and recently started using Delicious for bookmarking. However we set up the friendship in Delicious before she added her Delicious account to SocialThing, as a result some of her bookmarks came through as a separate item in SocialThing which lists only a single Delicious account.

She has now added delicious to her SocialThing account, and if I look at that it correctly lists that she has a Delicious account, however if I look at a Delicious update then this appears to be a record from a separate account with only her Delicious account referenced. I can neither rename that, nor merge this in with her main account.

I noticed a problem this morning attempting to post to Ping.fm from the SocialThing iPhone web app. I repeatedly received an error message "There was an error. Resend".

As shown in the attached image, there's something not quite right on my 'Post' window. The Plurk icon is slightly offset and has no tick-box next to it, so I can't select or de-select it. (I've greyed out my user names in the screenshot):



I've reproduced the error on Firefox 3 on two different machines, but I've not been able to try with any other browser (IE doesn't work, as you might expect).

Socialthing groups feeds by who said what and Twitter organizes them by chronological order. Socialthing is a better interface but it doesn't always handle the flow of the conversation correctly.

Suggestion:
Group up conversations to make it easier to follow. Maybe add the two user avatars next to each other and indent the conversation

When I go into my account settings I see it says un-verified next to my email address. There does not seem to be a system in place to verify my email address.

1. Go into Settings tab.
2. Click on Account section.
3. Observe it says un-verified next to email accounts

The email address I used is not the same one my invitation came to.

I was testing how your new feature for managing accounts worked, when I accidentally removed my friend's Twitter feed from Socialthing.

Thiis is what I did.
1. Unchecked his name from the drop-down menu.
2. I refreshed the browser and his name Twitter feed was gone.

To try to bring it back
1. Went into settings and removed my Twitter account.
2. Click on the Home tab and refreshed the page.
3. Went back into Settings and added my Twitter account.
4. Clicked back on the Home tab and refeshed the page again.

My friend's Twitter feed was still gone. So how do I bring it back?

It's a tiddly problem... but the tab index on the login pane (at www.socialthing.com) is wrong.

Expected:
- login name
- password
- stay logged in
- submit

What actual happens:
- login name
- password
- submit
- stay logged in

Links are incorrectly linked if they miss the http:// bit.

As an example, this update says "colalife site has been hit 85 times already tonight. Cool! www.colalife.org"

In this example, www.colalife.org has been highlighted as a clickable link.

Expected behaviour: it would link to http://www.colalife.org/
What actually happens: it links to https://socialthing.com/www.colalife.org

https://socialthing.com/www.colalife.org is, of course, a (quite nicely written) 404.

When ST is organized by person I no longer get the auto-fetch for older lifestream options when I scroll to the bottom of the page.

I'm unable to add last.fm. It keeps giving an error: "There was an error adding your account." Any ideas? This has been going on since I signed up days ago.

Facebook doesn't doesn't load, and I always have to. It used reauthenticate. It used to work a few months ago, but not anymore!
