Weeding Out the Fans from Friends Last reply on May 19, 2008 08:22.
I can see Socialthing becoming my go-to source for all things social online, but I have to be able to remove people from the stream on the spot.
Facebook has the give me more or less of this person feature, but it's not as effective as the ability to completely remove someone from the stream who is a fan.
I mentioned this to Brian already, but thought I'd post here as well.
Amazing job guys!

Make ST! with asynchronous UI
Why is there a refresh button? I mean there is already a refresh button on my browser. Can't you make ST! asynchronous? I mean a little eventmachine and juggernaut magic and it would be a serious improvement. Not to mentino a much less intensive to the server load as you don't have to spin up a rails process everytime. This is Mike if it doesn't tell you that somewhere. Like Asshole lives in Seattle Mike. -

Socialthing! URL Last reply on April 15, 2008 01:28.
I'm sure this is in the works, but a socialthing! URL (www.socialthing.com/user) could be a good way to show friends what socialthing! is without having to sign up for beta. Maybe a short stream with 5-10 things I did within the last hour or day etc.

Please support OAuth on Twitter and Pownce (and Ma.gnolia!). I love that you guys are using authorization protocols for Vimeo, Facebook and Flickr but you really should support other sites that already support OAuth.

Can we get a notification of service issues at the top of our lifestream. Last reply on April 05, 2008 04:23.
I've been noticing lots of "synch issues". I'm currently having issues with last.fm (which has now entirely dissapeared) and Livejournal. Would it be possible to put something up near the top that says, Hey we're having a problem on our end, it's not you. It would be more informative than hey, we couldn't connect to server X.
