Is it possible to scroll only what you can see?

If it's been a while since I've refreshed, I'll often go down quite a ways and read up to catch up to current posts. When shift-space is used to page up, you can lose a tweet as the socialthing header is included in the size of the canvas that is scrolled.

Scrolling only the visible area of the feed minus the header area would be great.

Myspace update? Last reply on July 03, 2008 22:32.

I absolutely LOVE Socialthing, I leave it open all day. Any news or updates on the status of MySpace support?

Also, have you considered adding additional Facebook updates, besides just pictures and status updates? Like maybe comments on photos, etc?

Why can't I see direct messages? Last reply on June 27, 2008 21:06.

I thought SocialThing! used to display direct Twitter messages. But recently none of the direct messages I've been receiving have been showing up. Was that functionality removed?

Removal of manual refreshing and mobile settings? Last reply on June 27, 2008 17:57.

will I ever get the ability to manually refresh my feeds again (mobile and regular editions of ST.)? Also, I'd like to have the return of the settings page in the mobile version. Are these things just temporarily removed?

Privacy problem with Facebook Last reply on June 19, 2008 22:43.

Congratulations about Socialthing! I really like it... The best advantage for me is that we don't need to search for friends again!!

I don't know if this is valid but if it is then Socialthing may face several issues with privacy of Facebook users. I explain:
Some of my friends have their profiles-photos etc visible only to their friends. If such a friend post new pictures then I see them in my Socialthing Friendstream...So if I permit facebook updates to appear even only to my facebook friends in Socialthing then they will be able to see the private photos of a friend of mine that they are not friends with! Is that correct ? If yes it can lead to various problems!

Sync ST favorites and Twitter favorites. Last reply on June 19, 2008 16:30.

When I "love" or "heart" something, that information doesn't get synced back to Twitter. It'd be so nice if when I favorited something in ST it sync'd back to Twitter -- and the other way around, (there's an RSS feed for a user's favorites in Twitter).

    How do I set a person's name in 2.0? Last reply on June 16, 2008 21:58.

The best I can recall, I used to be able to click on a username and give that person a real name.

Now with the update, I can't figure out how to do that. The old names I had set up are there...

    Help?

Can you add status sync with Plaxo? Last reply on June 27, 2008 13:12.

Plaxo pulse is a great service that tries to do mostly the same as you, but isn't well enough integrated with Facebook.

What's the digg plugin for? Last reply on June 21, 2008 22:02.

What is the point in adding your digg user name to social thing? I added mine and I see no updates via digg about anything I've dugg, favorited, or shouted... Is mine just broken?

    Profile/Lifestream History Last reply on June 15, 2008 13:57.

In regards to the user's own lifestream, what determines the oldest update? For example my oldest update is April 21, 2008 (a Vimeo Like) but I have items from my other services such as del.icio.us & Flickr which go way back.

Would they get included as well & how is it worked out in general?

Can New Updates be Colored? Last reply on June 27, 2008 12:41.

Can newly-updated items be colored different so it's easier to recognize items you haven't read? This is important if you're away for a while and come back to many updates.

Limited profile included in "Facebook friends"? Last reply on June 13, 2008 16:24.

Please would you tell me whether Facebook users who are included on the Facebook "Limited Profile" list are considered to be "Friends on the Facebook service" within SocialThing?

I ask because I have my status updates on Facebook visible only to users who are not on my Limited Profile. If those users join SocialThing, they will see information that I have configured to be protected in my Facebook settings. This may also apply to posted items or other Facebook activity.

    Please would you confirm?

Auto update problems and missing twitter messages Last reply on June 14, 2008 22:18.

am I the only one with problems after the 2.0 upgrade? The auto update feature is not working right (from time to time it just won't update) and there are a lot of messages by others on twitter that just won't show in socialthing.

i was to "reply" to flickr images or other non-replyable streams
