delay in recieving feeds

seems to be a bit of a delay in getting updated statuses from other sites....is this a limitation of their api or is this something yall can correct?

Refreshing the lifestream does not seem to work(the updates stay the same even though i have more). does anybody else have this problem.

It would be cool if we could add arbitrary RSS feeds to socialthing! for our friends on services that are not yet supported.

There could even be an option to say what parts of the RSS means what.... which could speed actual integration later ;)
