Error with Firefox 3. After login I get a blank screen with no feeds. I have all cookies enabled. I can login and see my feeds with Safari with no problems. The Firefox error console has this to say:
Issue: I click on "Show updates" in Socialthing! Alpha and the "Loading new updates" animation spins indefinitely. Only resolution is to refresh the page.
Browser Version: Mozilla Firefox 3 Beta 5
OS: Linux 2.6.24-18-386 i686 GNU/Linux (Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 LTS)
Steps to reproduce:
1) Load and Sign in to Social thing Alpha
2) Wait for a notification that new updates are available
3) Wait approx 60min (highly variable, have not tested exact times)
4) Click on "Show Updates"
A this point it should spin indefinitely. Will work on getting a more precise measure of time and seeing if it correlates with particular update types or services.
i think that a firefox add-on might be the best way to go with this site. it'd be really nice to have all my site updates pop up in a lil box in the corner...but the site is awesome. deff will start using it for everything if the myspace integration is clean.
This morning I had the 10 Invites option on my SocialThing! account. I tried to invite someone and it says "You have zero invites" when I click send, although I haven't invited anyone yet. I tried logging in through Safari (instead of FF) and there's no sign of the invite link anymore.
Also, clicking the invite link on Firefox (v.3b3) opens the invite window under the socialstream... clicking on the Settings tab makes the window visible again.
